June 2013--20 years goes fast

I had already been studying  Alexander for nearly 5 years, in fact I was already certified  by another organization when I went looking for the something that was missing in my understanding of Alexander's work.

I found just what I had been searching for.... 

Twenty years ago I was the very first person to sign on to Ruth Kilroy's  brand new Alexander Technique training course, Alexander Technique Training Center in Boston MA.

That was in 1993

This June Ruth's school celebrates 20 years of intense, everyday, nose to the grindstone, full-on Alexander training. She sticks to principles, she teaches and reteaches basics. She goes deep and she stays in there. She is an Alexander Technique teacher, all day, every day.

I am so very grateful to be among the Alexander Technique teachers that have been trained by,
and continue to be trained by  Ruth Kilroy.
